My passion for fitness is evident in the way I live my life. Rock climbing, kayaking, snowboarding, trail running and weight training are some of the activities I have focused on throughout the years. Both formally and informally I have instructed others on the basics of snowboarding, climbing and kayaking. I enjoy helping likeminded people discover the joy of adventuring in the outdoors. As I continue to educate myself about new approaches to health and fitness, I understand the vital connection between diet, exercise and the ability of an individual to enjoy life. I relish the idea of being able to share this knowledge and helping my clients gain a greater enjoyment of their surroundings through fitness with my personal training services.
In recent years I have focused my own personal training in preparation for endurance kayak racing (715 km Yukon River Quest), and multi-distance (50 km-50 mile) trail running races in Canada and the US. I also enjoy a leisurely paddle around the islands or hikes on our beautiful island.
